Super Tuesday is in full effect as the college basketball slate is LOADED. We look to Allen Fieldhouse for great value as the Kansas Jayhawks host the Oklahoma State Cowboys. It’s a big spread in this one, currently sitting at -14.5 That being said, get this line in now! We are absolutely backing Kansas in this spot and would’ve comfortably taken them with an even bigger spread near 20 points. Why? Laying the big number is the move here because of the matchup and scenario coming in. First off, OSU has been an ugly team this year, going 1-6 in Big 12 play thus far and ranking dead last in the conference. Couple that with the fact they got blown out by 24 points at home by this same Kansas team and we have value. Plus, the Jayhawks are coming off a frustrating road loss to Iowa State on Saturday so we know they will come out aggressive against a far inferior Cowboys team. The Jayhawks are a historically good home team. One of my favorite stats ever was that for the longest time coach Bill Self had more conference championships than he did home losses at Allen Fieldhouse. The student section will be rowdy and they will want to run this team out of the gym. Kansas owns the Cowboys historically, winning 9 of the last 10 matchups and covering the spread in 7 of the last 9 (78%). The best part about this pick? About 70% of the public is on OSU, meaning Kansas is the sharp side. Ride with us to the window. Let’s be SHARP - Take Kansas Jayhawks -14.5!
